"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain." A friend sent me this quote last week. Think about it. Storms are going to come, so why mullygrub about it, just have a good time while you are walking through the storm. This thought is very appropriate for Jeff & I at this time. I'm encouraging Jeff to enjoy this time of "freedom" and not to fret. I'll leave you with a poem that someone sent to me when my dad passed away over ten years ago entitled "The Weaver" (B. Franklin). I read it and think on it often. I'm just so thankful that God sees and knows the future, and all I have to do is trust Him!
My life is but a weaving,
between my God and me,
I do not choose the colors,
He worketh steadily.
Ofttimes he weaveth sorrow,
and I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper,
and I the underside.
Not till the loom is silent,
and the shuttles cease to fly,
Will God unroll the canvas,
and explain the reasons why
The dark threads are as needful
in the skillful weaver's hand
As threads of gold and silver
in the pattern He has planned.
