This and That!

The job search is on for Jeff. He has several possibilities, but we want the Lord's will, so please pray for wisdom for him.

Yesterday was Kristina's birthday, so our whole family met at Famous Dave's for lunch. It was a lot of fun. We don't have a lot of opportunities to get together as a family, so when we do it is extra special. I was hoping that they would do something to embarrass Kristina for her birthday, but they don't do that. Oh, well, there is always next year.

My job is going very well. Tomorrow is Bosses' Day, and I am very thankful for the boss that God has given me. He keeps me very busy, but it's a good kind of busy.

I went to my WW meeting today and I was pleasantly surprised. Last week because of the holiday on Monday we had our meeting on Thursday and I was disappointed at my lack of progress over that ten-day period. Well, having another meeting this soon, I was not expecting anything great, but I was so excited. My target weight loss for these 10 weeks is 17 pounds, and after only three weeks, I am almost half way there. I have been doing a lot better with the exercise. I've heard people say that it is a lifestyle change and I am beginning to believe that. I have really started thinking about what I am eating and mainly the portions. My goal is to be down 10 pounds by the next meeting.
