Ryan has almost completed his three weeks in Florida. He had a pass for about three days, and Jillian is there with him at this time. She will be returning home tomorrow. Within the next few days he will be heading up to Fort Dix, New Jersey for his seventy day stint. Please pray that he will stay well after going from warm Florida to frigid New Jersey. It has been a tiring three weeks for him so I hope he has been able to get some rest the last few days. While in NJ, he will get a few days off around the first part of April in order to come home before heading to Iraq. Jillian was excited because one of those days happens to be her birthday. So, he will miss their first anniversary, but at least he will be here for her birthday. Thank you for your prayers - please continue to pray for Ryan and Jillian!

Landon is playing Upward Basketball this year and is doing great! He loves it, of course. This is his first time playing on a basketball team and I'm sure it's just the start of a great basketball career. LOL! For a six-year-old, he is very coordinated and has inherited some of his Uncle Ryan's skill. I think he has been playing some kind of ball since he was able to walk and hold a ball. When the weather is nice and the kids are over at our house and can play in the backyard, Landon goes through the whole gamut before it's over - you name it, football, basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, even tennis. So, surely there is a future there somewhere. Maybe he will even support his Grammie and Grandpa in their old age.
Well, thanks for checking in and don't forget to leave a post before you leave. Until next time....

Oh how sweet! I couldn't possibly imagine being away from my new husband so long! I am so thrilled she has been able to visit with him.
