Friday morning I had to do what I believe is the most difficult thing I have ever had to do as a mother - I watched my son board a plane to head off to serve his country in Iraq. What a helpless, empty feeling! I know that God is in control of the situation and I have entrusted Ryan to His care. Please pray for Ryan and his buddies, as well as his new wife, Jillian. Ryan and his unit are expected to arrive overseas sometime in March or April and their estimated time of return to the states is sometime in January 2009. This mother is proud of her son, the soldier!!!

Hey, today Landon and I were listening to voices from the front, and Landon said, ''I hope Ryan gets to be on the Radio, because he is a soldier and I miss him''. I said, ''me to buddy''. As to which Landon replied, ''please donot start crying again''. What a rat he is. Love you.
Tammy, We have Ryan on our prayer list. I'm so thankful for people like him who are willing to help keep my family safe. We will pray for you too. What a blessing you are.
