TOMORROW - OFFICIALLY 49 and HOLDING!!!

Today is my last day to be 48. Tomorrow I will officially be 49 and holding. How many times growing up did I hear adults say that when asked how old they were? "49 and holding!" And you know what, I thought they were ancient. Fast forward and here I am. Getting ready to be forever 49 and holding. My husband sent me flowers to work today, just so I could have them early and enjoy them longer. He sends me flowers often and I never tire of them. He always requests sunflowers and stargazer lilies, two of my favorite and the florist he uses always does such a wonderful job. Anyway, I'm on the downhill slide to the Big 50. A friend of mine turned 50 today and we have just razed her for several days now. It has been so much fun, but I have been very careful because I know that paybacks can be very sweet. Well, there's another old saying "You're as young as you feel." I don't feel like I'm almost 49. I still feel like I should be in my twenties. God has been so good to me and blessed me beyond measure. I am married to the most wonderful man on earth, my children are all married to wonderful Christian spouses and I have three beautiful, healthy grandchildren. I just marvel at how many blessings God has given me throughout my lifetime. I don't know how many more years God will give me, but if I died tomorrow, I couldn't think of anymore that I would want. Now, don't get me wrong, I desire a closer relationship with the Lord and I fervently pray for that, I pray for my childrens' walk with the Lord, but as far as physical blessings, I'm the most blessed. Thank you Lord for the years and blessings you have given me and most of all for my salvation!!!
