God Answers Prayer

I wrote several days ago about a somewhat stressful week that I had. One of the things that made it stressful was my current boss and because of her attitude towards me, I decided to apply for a different job, which I did and I was immediately called for an interview. I felt the interview went great. Since then, my husband and I have been praying for the Lord's will concerning this job. Well, the Lord answered our prayer with a "No." I found out yesterday that I did not get the job. I guess God wants me to stay where I'm at for the time being. There are some other possibilities in the wings that I will share at a later time. I know that God's timing is perfect and it will all work out. We just have to trust Him and seek His will for our lives. My desire is to not work at all, and one of the possibilities would make that happen. So, we will continue to pray that God will open and shut the doors as He sees fit. But for the time being, I'll stay put and try my best to be a good testimony. Also, please continue to pray for our Pastor and his cancer.
