Well, I did one of those chores today that as a working woman I don't find time to do very often and I dread with a passion. I cleaned my refrigerator out! Yuk! I didn't have a lot of green things growing in there, but I did have a lot of outdated jars of stuff. It's amazing that now that we have an empty nest and I work full-time, we don't eat at home as much and things seem to go bad before we can use them up. I really would like to cook at home more, but that takes advance preparation and I just can't seem to get my act together to do that. I really need to use my time more wisely. God has really been convicting me about that. I need to get up earlier in the morning and not hit that snooze button. I think the snooze button was invented by the devil himself. I am definitely not a morning person and I find it very difficult to get up in the morning. Once I am up, I am good to go, but it's that initial waking up and getting up. I guess going into the holidays isn't the best time to try to form new habits, but I'm going to start this week getting up earlier and when the first of the year rolls around, I'll have a jumpstart on a New Year's resolution to spend my time more wisely. I just feel like we are so hurried these days that I don't find the time to do everything that I need to do. My desire and prayer is that someday soon, I can be a stay-at-home wife. Please pray for me about that. Proverbs 31:15 shall be my goal: "She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household..." I'd love to hear your ideas on how I could make getting up in the morning easier.

((Tammie)) What a good post! A goal is wonderful to have and something definatly to look forward to.
Oh and they say it takes 21 days to form a habit...so get up at least for 21 days straight and see if a new one has formed...lol.
How did you do this morning?

Not very good, but Monday is always hard after Sunday. I actually only slept through one snooze, so I guess I did a little better. I'm going to try to set the alarm for a little earlier tomorrow and see how that goes. Only time will tell!!!
Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I am in the midst of reforming my schedule too! This morning was made more difficult by the fact that I pulled my alarm clock into bed with me (turned it off of course!) and then after laying in bed for over ten minutes, swiftly returned the alarm clock to my nightstand...and knocked my water glass over. Well, I had to get up then! =)
