Welcome Home, Soldier!

Ryan arrived safely in Knoxville this morning. Praise God for his watchcare and protection. It was quite an emotional homecoming! As the five soldiers came off the plane, the whole terminal erupted in applause. Then after we passed back by security, there lining the tarmac stood about twenty cyclists with their huge American flags to welcome the soldiers home. That was very emotional! It was especially special because these five soldiers deployed with a unit from Florida, so they missed the fanfare and homecoming that the majority of the soldiers received when they arrived at their home base in Florida this morning. I am very proud of my son and his willingness to serve our great country.

Welcome Home, Ryan, and May God bless the U.S.A.!!!
