We have had a wonderful time with Ryan while he has been home. He and Jillian have had a lot of time to spend together too. He seems fine and well. He leaves on Tuesday (18th) to head back to Iraq. After he arrives back in Iraq, he will have less than two months left. Right now his estimated departure from Iraq will be around January 13, and hopefully he will be back in the states by the first of February. Please continue to pray for his and his fellow soldiers' safety.
We had our family Thanksgiving last weekend since Ryan was home. It was a wonderful meal. I was not feeling well, so I was not a very good hostess. The previous week I had a diverticulitis attack and had to take a trip to the ER. Quite painful!!! I just finished my antibiotic yesterday and am feeling much better. I have lost some weight, which is nice, but I would not recommend this weight loss problem to my worst enemy. If you have any experience with diverticulitis, let me know if you have any tips.
Kristina is doing well with her pregnancy - Lillian (Lilli) June is now due on March 18, so I guess we will have another March birthday (Stacey's is the 15th and Ryan's is the 11th). My goal is to have one grandchild born in each month of the year. HA! I have an April, May and July, and will have a March when Lilli is born. So, that will be four down, with eight to go. Since Kevin and Stacey are not having any more, then that leaves quite a task for Kristina/Sam and Ryan/Jillian.
Rheagan is doing superb with her violin lessons. It is amazing that a five-year-old can have such interest and talent! I am so excited and proud of her!
