The Final Countdown has Begun!!!!

Today, I am officially 49 11/12 years old. My last month to be forty-something has begun. I am having a real hard time turning the BIG 5-0. I can't explain it, but it has been bothering me for a long time. A lot of my friends are fifty-something, and they are still really nice people, they don't look REAL old or anything, but I just don't feel good about turning fifty. I know the day I turn fifty will come and go, and I won't act any different, look any different or feel any different (I hope). I just can't explain it - maybe it is because it doesn't seem that long ago that I remember when my mother was fifty. Boy, the saying is sure true that the older you get the faster time passes. Well...I guess time will tell..maybe the fifties will be good for me, maybe I will look better, feel better and act better. Who knows? Stay tuned to find out!
