Major League - Here I Come!

Well, the regular season is over and the Karns Braves finished 1st in their league. They were 1st seed going into the tournament. They played their first game tonight and WON!!! Tomorrow they play again. Landon has done so good, especially as a six-year-old on a 7 and 8 year old team. All the players have drastically improved as the season progressed. Hopefully they will give it their all and do well in the remainder of the tournament. Stay tuned...

On another topic that is very near and dear to my heart...Ryan is doing good, but please pray for him and his fellow soldiers. It is right now 115 degrees there and is supposed to be 122 by next week. Compared to the 95 we had here today, that sounds unbearable, but then add the fact that they are in the desert, wearing a full uniform along with other items they have to have on their person at all times, and I can't imagine how much that adds to the situation. Just please pray, pray, pray, not only for their safety, but also for endurance and health during this heat. I appreciate those of you that have been faithfully praying for Ryan (and Jillian) during this time. Just this past Sunday it stated in the newspaper that "May had the lowest casualties since February 2004". That comes from people praying - that is God's protection!!!
