There is Nothing Like Grandkids!!!
My daughter was dropping my grandkids off at the sitter's house this morning before going to work. She pulled up in the driveway and was writing a check to pay the babysitter. My 5-year-old grandson says, "Mom, what are you doing?" My daughter's answer was, "Landon, do you think that Mrs. B watches you for free, I'm writing her a check." My 3-year-old granddaughter, without missing a beat, says, "No, mom, only God watches us for free." Isn't that precious? Out of the mouth of babes!!! If only we as adults could think like a child sometimes. My grandchildren really make me think and they definitely help me to think more spiritual thoughts. I have three wonderful grandchildren and with my stepdaughter getting married in February and my son getting married in May, I expect there will be more in the near future. I don't think I could ever have too many grandchildren. They help keep us young!!! If you don't have any yet, you are definitely missing a blessing. I just wish I would have had as much wisdom when my children were young as I do now, so I would have treasured my time with them more. I hope to make up for some of that with my grandkids.

Weddings galore! 'Tis the season to get married! LOL I'm so excited about Mandy's wedding I can barely stand myself. LOL
I love what you said about the wishing you had the same wisdom with your own children that you now have with grandchildren. I'll tell you, the wisdom we have now CAME from raising the children.
I agree with you that people our friends who don't have a grandchild have no idea what they're in store for. Cameron is the absolute light of my life. There's just no way to explain how much I love him. And he keeps me young. The only thing that could make me as happy as Mandy and Aaron getting married is for Krissy and Andy to tell me we have another grandbaby on the way. The more the better. It's like being completely surrounded with love and when Cameron holds his arms out to me and says, "Up, Nana," it just melts my heart.
I know just exactly how you feel. *smile*
